Natalia Vodianova by Paolo Roversi
Kicking off Spring with this incredible cover from my favorite British magazine blessed my day. For its Spring 2010 issue, i-D magazine featured 3 amazing models on 3 different covers. Sasha Pivovarova and Freja Beha were shot by i-D’s favorite photographer Emma Summerton and Natalia Vodianova was shot by Paolo Roversi. All 3 covers are minimalist, youthful and full-on colors that hint the beginning of Spring. I have to admit that Natalia’s cover stood out by its innocence and childish attitude, like a certain “iconic” cover with Emma Ward. The issue will also feature some intriguing editorials I can’t wait to get my hands on. One of my favorite model, Dree Hemingway will follow the steps of her great great grand-father in Cuba and Natalia Vodianova has been consecrated with an editorial by Paolo Roversi. Not sure when it’s out in NYC, but expect me to check my favorite fashion magazine store in Bryant Park every morning.
