Chloé Pre-Fall 2010 Presentation

This pre-fall is an obvious sign that Hannah Macgibbon’s Chloé is moving away from the “lolita” times to focus on more mature looks, well-tailored with some simple and classic suits. The collection has a strong Germanic/Scandinavian preppy-look made for the working-woman. Heavy with plaid and seventies looks, the shapes are inspired by menswear bringing the relaxed fit trousers and moccasins. Not overly optimistic about the F/W 2010 collection after looking at the Pre-fall, I hope Hannah will show us she can definitely do better that a highly conservative line.
