Finally! I had to wait until near end of the Spring 2010 Fashion Weeks to see a tremendous spectacle, a fabulous combination of Fashion, music and entertainment. Chanel’s show was a tribute to the “joie-de-vivre à la française”. The collection was a hit – beautiful, chic and sophisticated, amazingly showcased in a barnyard stage with Lilly Allen playing in the middle of the models. The fabrics and cuts were soft and deconstructed in tattered and decorated with ribbons. We’ve seen a lot of “toile” probably to celebrate the glorious French lifestyle. I really adored everything in this collection, the floral embellishments on the clothes or handbags. The big surprise came from the clogs (studded or embellished) and how Chanel was able to re-create the ugliest shoe into something that everyone will envy. The show was also an orgy of accessories that will make the Chanel fashionistas hyper-ventilate until the first days of Spring.

Probably because you are like as this very moment, I’ve put two videos of the show thanks to lucianoburgos from YouTube.
