Vogue Australia’s upcoming issue is by far the most expensive issue they’ve done for the past 50 years. Hence for this celebration, Cate Blanchett will be on the cover captured by the exquisite brush strokes of London fashion illustrator David Downton. Four different covers will be released to make all the fans hyperventilating with excitement. This issue will be full of surprise and a shoot by Greg Kadel with Australian models of the moment, Catherine McNeil and Abbey Lee Kershaw, caught my attention. Probably one of the best editorial of the year, the two models are just “wow”.
The editorial shows the models in suggestive poses and edgy attitudes. Pierced nipples must be a bit too much for the US market, but I love it because ironically it’s like both Cat and Abbey got the same one and be best friends forever. However I’ve heard one of the picture has been retouched to erase both pierced nipples. Lucky readers you are, I have the original photo in the gallery below.
