Probably my biggest disappointment of the month although it has been really rich in surprises. The latest Just Cavalli ad campaign for Fall 2009 just does not look good to me, again starring Kate Moss and captured by “X”… it almost look like the past campaigns. A campaign with a strange theme, accompanied by a model that looks completely disconnected from the supermodel. It almost looks like they are bored and Photoshop could not do anything to improve their expressions. Clothes in these ads are truly ok, the ones from the showcase were way better. Did the recent financial difficulty of Cavalli impact the creativity of this campaign in a bad way?
