Like the famous Euro dance group from the 90’s Dr. Alban, I want to sing “Hallelujah!”. Not that I suddenly want to recess back to my middle school period but a week ago my website has been hacked and suffered several damages which prevented me from posting. Seriously, I was not that happy when I came back from L.A. and discovered that hacking a blog was possible! At last, after long days of debugging, the website revives and stronger than ever (crossing-fingers). Thanks to some bloggers for the security tips!
There was no best way to start this summer with a world icon who has toughen up her image from a pretty ingenue to a more complex, emotional and mature role. I’m talking about Cameron Diaz who began her transformation in the latest tear-jerker movie “My Sister’s Keeper,” playing a mother of a child dying of cancer. Seriously go watch the movie!
In the latest issue of V magazine, Cameron shows her transformation. Photographed by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in London, she portrays an hybrid character, between Madonna and Gwen Stefani, wearing a cone-shaped bra made from gaffer tape, black leather shorts and boots. Not anymore the blond surfer girl, she is now a dramatic rock star.
From V’s editorial, the shoot’s inspiration was Madonna circa True Blue era and the tattoos were painted on by an on-set tattoo artist. The clothes are from Prada and the bra was fashioned by the stylist itself.
Here you will see the entire photo shoot:
