A revival of the NY gang style with a great influence from James Dean have been featured in the stylish UK GQ magazine. This West Side Story-inspired photoshoot was photographed by Guzman and styl-ed by Jo Levin. Models Callum Turner, Tyler Riggs, , Zach Ferry, Oliver Cheshire and Madeline Kragh impersonate with such a cool attitude the gang vibe from the 60’s. It’s not the first time I’ve seen recently a publisher reviving this period, I guess the trend is getting bigger. If you are like me and a huge fan of Acne (not the puberty zits…) collections of cool denims. Caroline from her blog Carolinesmode invites us to a preview of Acne’s Fall 09 collection. The famous Swedish brand delivers again a new collection with great, simple and ecclectic urban style. As you may have noticed, I decided to proceed with a big change for this blog. The former blog name “iwantunow” is being replaced by the more inspirational and thematic “Tais-toi, sois beau” title. In English: “Shut up, look pretty”. Because I though that the former name was not appropriate with the idea & goals I’m giving to this site. This change was made to better reflect the work behind this website that is to connect inspiration hunters with fine resources of style – either fashion or interior design. If you want to know more about the title: “Tais-toi, sois beau”, I invite you to read the About page here.
As I’m having more and more readers today, I hope this change will not impact your habits and you will continue to enjoy reading the blog. I will continue to add more content relevant, but also more selective, to everyone with great styling articles. And obviously continue to help people develop their own and successful look.
