Givenchy gets men on over-the-knee footwear

A few days ago I was talking about the thigh-high boots for women, and think this trend will be leading this Fall season. But this time I was very surprised to see Givenchy debuting its Fall 2009 RTW show with over-the-knee boots. I was kind of disconcerted by the models with severe military cuts in glittery thigh-high boots and winter shorts. However, this was only a few outfits among a very well-executed collection. Is it a sign of change in the men’s shoe department?
