Once again Paris is at the top of all the influences in this Paris Fashion Week season. While Dior was reviving the 1920’s, Marc Jacobs has opened a chapter from the late 1980’s French fashion. I’m talking about Christian Lacroix and Inès de la Fressange when both were at the Top of the industry. The designer launched an hommage to the “petite parisienne” with frivolity in the clothes brought to the extremes. Tons of ruching, bubble skirts, satin leggings, tights with the monogram and lace dress.

The clothes were cute and looks are great, but all agree that the accessories gave this collection a stand out. Pearl-pierced heels, bunny ears, leather necklaces and belts (looked like paper). And the most famous bags were gilded and vintage. The shoes were my favorites I must say from this Paris Fashion Show, high boots were topped with ruffles. Heels were balanced on pearl and covered with glitter.
